If Silverback Airsoft wants to hit two birds with one stone, that is, making their own fans happy and KJ Works KC-02 10/22 CO2 Blowback Rifle owners happy too, they might want to start working on the Desert Tech Trek-22 Bullpup Stock which is designed for the Ruger 10/22. It has been available for almost a year now and Desert Tech just announced they have added FDE and ODG as colour options.

The Trek-22 is a bullpup stock that is made of impact resistance glass reinforced polymer making it a light and durable chassis and with the bullpup design. It also makes it have a more compact, shortened look a 26.75” even with the 18” barrel as compared to the standard 10/22 that it is around 37” long.

With M-Lok becoming standard for new rifles, the Trek-22 also sports this rail system with attachments at  3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. The stock area has two compartments for storing 10-round magazines.

Just like before, the pricing for the new colour options remains the same at US$299.99. It should be a good gift for .22LR shooters and for owners of the KJ Works KC-02, they will just need to check if they can easily adopt it or it may require some modding to make the airsoft version work. Adding the new Trek-22 bullpup stock gives more options and flexibility especially with attaching weapons accessories.
