For fans of the “Call of Duty” series, there is no debate that “All Ghillied Up” in “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” is the best mission of the FPS franchise. It is also considered to be one of the best video games level of all time given the tension playing the game and care in making this level. Having played the mission in the original 2007 game, I can attest to it and I wonder if it can be equaled or surpassed by another mission in the Call of Duty series in the future.

For Infinity Ward and Activision, what can equal “All Ghillied Up” but with an “All Ghillied Up 2” mission in the upcoming “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II”?

In the last part of the of the Campaign Early Access trailer of the game, a ghillied up game character was shown which the screen gab above shows. Barry Sloane, the English actor who does the voice and motion capture of Captain Price from “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” in 2019 and in the upcoming “Modern Warfare II” tweeted an image of Captain Price in a ghillie suit for the game:

In the first Modern Warfare game, a younger Price who was a lieutenant undertakes a mission with Captain MacMillan to assassinate Imran Zakhaev, leader of the Russian Ultranationalists in Pripyat, the own near the abandoned Chernobly Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. The player will have to stealthily move towards their position, avoiding detection from the Russian nationalists and this means going through crawling prone an open field, darting towards positions and going under armoured vehicles. Upon success of this mission, this is then followed up by the “One Shot, One Kill” level which in itself is an exhilarating level as Price and a wounded MacMillan escape capture after Price only managed to wound Zakhaev.

 “All Ghillied Up 2” in the 2022 Modern Warfare II, there is no mention of what the mission is going to be but is said the player will be paired with Captain Price for a mission in Spain and it will be long distance shot that will require ballistics calculation to hit the target.

With this mission, there might be some high expectations if it will equal or surpass “All Ghillied Up” and we can’t blame the players, we will be looking forward to this mission when it gets released on the 28 October 2022. Those who have pre-ordered will have an early access to the campaign mode a week before it gets released. It will be playable on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
