In May 2022, Beretta announced the APX A1 full size, which continues to carry the ergonomics of the APX family. It is also accurate, modular and is optics ready. Beretta follows up this striker-fired pistol with the Tactical version that comes with an extended magazine, threaded barrel for mounting suppressors and suppressor height sights.

Berretta developed APX A1 Full Size Tactical in collaboration with special forces units. The colour scheme is OD green given that it is the choice of colour in the tactical market and the suppressor-height sights can also be co-witnessed with optics mounted on this pistol.

It has a raised Trigger Undercut, optics ready and combined with the modularity of the under rail, the company says the APX A1 Tactical a beacon in its segment. When purchased the U.S. version comes with three 21-round extended magazines. There are 10-round and 19-round magazine options.
