Talon Meyer explains why you should be wearing a helmet during a game, and in particular the PTS Flux Helmet... "THIS helmet, the PTS Flux, has saved my head on SEVERAL occasions. Not only has it been awesome for keeping my camera on and putting some new night vision on but has saved my noggin. Crouching down and scooting under equipment is sometimes necessary, having a helmet protects from those accidental pipe checks by standing up a little too soon.

So are you getting your money's worth, no matter how cheap you got hat replica helmet? That's a good question. But it depends really on the airsoft player's purpose for buying a an airsoft helmet and if it is cheap it is not exactly for protection but more for loadout purposes and carrying headmounted gear. We still recommend investing in good head protection gear though it's not really required.
