Hyperdouraku returned to the Shizuoka Hobby Show this year, eager to report on the latest innovations from Tokyo Marui and Crown Model. The event spanned several days, with 14th and 15th May, 2025, dedicated to vendors. The 16th was reserved for elementary, junior high, and high school students, while the general public was welcomed on the 17th and 18th. The familiar venue, Twin Messe Shizuoka, once again hosted the highly anticipated show.

Deka does a recap of what was experienced at the Tokyo Marui booth during the 62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show that took place earlier this month... "This is a digest video of the Tokyo Marui booth at the 62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show, which was held at Twin Messe Shizuoka for five days from May 8th to 12th, 2024. We will introduce the exhibit contents again, including the first announcement of the Air Revolver Pro "SAA.45 Cavalry Custom" and the airsoft gun test firing corner!"

Many of us did not have the luck to be able to visit Japan and head to the 60th Shizuoka Hobby Show and check out what was on display at the Tokyo Marui booth. We now get the chance to view the booth virtually with Deka and Irodori Mayoi greeting and showing us around... "The Tokyo Marui booth at the 60th Shizuoka Hobby Show held from May 11th to 15th is reproduced in VR! Looking back on new products and hobby shows at the virtual Tokyo Marui booth."

The 59th Shizuoka Hobby Show is proceeding this year when it was cancelled last week due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is an annual trade show wherein Tokyo Marui is one of the big exhibitors, but for this year they will not be attending as posted on their website (rough machine translation):

Hyperdouraku has his full report of the 57th Shizuoka Hobby Show that took place early this month. The focus is Tokyo Marui as this event is the where they make their first announcement of upcoming and soon to be released products. He gives more details of the items that were on display as well as videos of the Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB, Type 89 GBB, MTR16 GBB, Delta Custom NEG in Black, PPC Custom Revolver, and the Albert.W.Model 01P.

Mach Sakai was at the 57th Shizuoka Hobby Show visited various booths to report on his YouTube Channel. Airsofters are interested more on the products announced by Tokyo Marui so here are his videos showing the MTR16 GBB Rifle, Type 89 GBB Rifle, Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Pistol, and the Albert.W.Model 01P.

Tokyo Marui has a video on the SGR-12 that is separate from their first demo video shown last year. Shown at the 56th Shizuoka Hobby Show this is more of a product presentation. The SGR-12, which is the an original design by Tokyo Marui uses the AES tech seen in the AA-12, which has three internal barrels and can use the TM AA-12 AES drum magazine. It has a bigger brother the "Thor's Hammer" which was designed for Resident Evil: Biohazard 7.

This catalog is produced after the show and contains the soon to be released products from Tokyo Marui. Included are the M40A5 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle, KSG Gas Shotgun, M4 CQB-R GBB, Glock 22, and the Biohazard Samurai Edge Standard Gas Blowback Pistol.
