It is of high quality steel construction and a perfect fit for the G42 GBB Airsoft Pistol.

A prototype steel slide from RA-Tech for the KSC M9 Gas Blowback Pistol is given a preview by the company in this video below. The steel slide is much, much heavier than the default aluminium slide that comes with the packaged KSC M9 but still works smoothly with the pistol. But the effect with steel slide is a heavier kick which brings more realism in its usage.
