Tommy of Airsoft GI shows his custom built Classic Army M16A1 AEG. For this build, he used the SHS 12:1 which is a short stroked two teeth gear set, the GATE Titan ETU MOSFET, Classic Army TORQUE Motor, SHS M130 Spring, the Action Army 6.01 M16A1 length Barrel, and it is S Hopped. This AEG averages 416-421 FPS.

USAirsoft got a gameplay video with the Classic Army M15A1VN (M16A1) AEG which is now back in circulation again. A good AEG to collect especially for Vietnam War reenactors, one just needs to change the flash hider to three-pronged version to make it historically accurate. Hyperdouraku goes back in time to pick up an AEG made by G&P, the M16A1 AEG. Whilst this is not the first M16A1 AEG, with the honour going to Tokyo Marui in the early 1990s, this is an affordable AEG which can be ordered for less than US$200 at some stores in Hong Kong. This is the iconic M16 that saw much action during the Vietnam War though the G&P version shows a newer flash hider as the original one uses the three-pronged one.
