Eagle6 Airsoft share their first impressions of the Tokyo Marui Evolt M4A1 AEG. This latest generation Tokyo Marui AEG features dimensions that match real-steel firearms, providing a physical feel comparable to gas blowback platforms. The rifle includes a thin grip and an adjustable barrel system that allows for length modifications. Its receiver is designed without trademarks, offering a blank surface for custom engravings.
Richard from Eagle6 Airsoft showcased a customer's upgraded Tokyo Marui MP5SD6 Next Gen AEG. The demonstration included firing tests and a detailed overview of the modifications. The rifle achieved a tested range of 65 meters using 0.32g BBs, with an observed muzzle velocity of 268 FPS when measured with 0.32g BBs. Other FPS measurements for different BB weights were also recorded during the demonstration.
Eagle6 Airsoft shows upgrades to a Tokyo Marui AK-74 NGRS as commissioned by a customer, aimed at resolving issues like slow trigger response and frequent jams. Key modifications included removing problematic internal mechanical parts, installing a Jefftron Leviathan Version 3 MOSFET system, and integrating a Solink Light 31K brushless motor. The new motor was also re-shimmed, and an additional power spacer was added to boost the gun's shooting power to 266fps on 32g BBs.
Eagle6 Airsoft features a test of a Tokyo Marui MK18 Next Gen AEG that was brought in due to feeding issues with a custom magazine. They tightened the mag release, resolving the feeding issues. They also installed a LEAX nut and sling point. The lower and upper receivers were in good condition. The gun functioned perfectly with a standard magazine, but the custom drum magazine experienced feeding issues when the charge ran out, requiring continuous winding.
Tokyo Marui MK46 NGRS owners will want to check this Anti-Reversal Latch for the Tokyo Marui MK46 NGRS from Eagle6 Airsoft. The steel CNC-machined product is a replacement for the ARL latch and spring, which are prone to breaking or wearing out on the Marui MK46 due to their contact with the spur gear. The spur gear has more teeth than a bevel gear, increasing the wear and tear on the latch and spring.
Another commission work that Eagle6 Airsoft tests before shipping out to the customer. Richard from the tech team showcases a customer’s upgraded TM MK18 MWS build.
