Airsoft players who are located in Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, got some good news last 29 February 2016. In a report by BeritaSatu.com, Jakarta's governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, he wants the City Forest not only to be a green open space for residents and at the same time provide for an airsoft arena.

Paguyuban Airsoft action in Yogyakarta, Indonesia which an avid reader from Indonesia pointed us to. We have some fantastic friends in Yogyakarta, or more affectionately known as Jogja from those who live or have visited there with its world famous Borobudur Temple and Mount Merapi. It's great to note that airsoft is alive and kicking butt in Jogja and if you visit the heart of Javenese culture, why not go for a round of airsoft with the locals there?

It does not say airsoft explicitly, but then airsoft will be there with military reenactors participating in the 6th Jakarta Toys and Comic Fair 2010. They will have cosplayers actively participating at the event. To be held on the the 13th-14th of March 2010 at the Indoor Tennis Senayan, Jakarta, the Indonesian reenactors will be strutting their stuff on the second day. There will be an airsoft booth at the event too (I guess).  Hopefully, we see the Indonesian airsoft community giving a good and active participation to invite more people to the hobby.
