The Tokyo Marui FN 57 just barely got out the door and PDI-Japan now has its .01 barrel ready for it. Always a welcome thing, given the quality of PDI products. Produced with an inner diameter of 6.01mm with ultraprecision, the processing technology is a special formula with cold forgin. The inner barrel, especially with the .01 precision barrel from PDI, should be used only with high-quality BBs as some BBs won't be able to get through with these, even if these are 6mm.

New item released by X-Fire/PDI-Japan made specifically for the Tokyo Marui AK-47... "Made of CS (carbon steel), CNC all machined & black Oxide. If you want to be more realistic, we recommend to use a lacquer finished over black oxide & 14mm CCW. This is for the TM AK47 front sight as RPK74. We make it as real hider,so inner diameter is smaller than AK47 because real RPK74 is for 5.45mm cartridge.

Tomo sent in news that X-Fire/PDI will be at the Shizuoka Hobby Show which will be held from the 14 to the 17th of May 2009. Organised yearly since 1959, the Shizuoka Hobby Show is a big event where you can see all the gadgets, toys, models, and of course airsoft stuff from the Japanese manufacturers. If having some problems for your AK47 like an iffy fire selector switch, and improved AK47 fire selector axis is available from X-Fire/PDI. Basically for the TM versions, we're not sure if this is also compatible with TM-compatible ones... We achieve the lowest price but high quality! For Maruzen Type 96 after 2nd lot. This set has KOUTETSU(CS) Cylinder & KOUTETSU (CS) Taper Cylinder Head. But we found & got high quality material as carbon steel. Its tolerance is same as stainless pipe."
