Something exciting is brewing up at Stirling Airsoft as reported by Ken Jones via the Stirling Airsoft Blog. This is an event Milsim guys would love to get into... "Hi guys, Got some exciting news for you from Stirling Airsoft.  On November 7th and 8th Stirling Airsoft will be holding our first ever real-time hostage rescue event at Catterick FIBUA Village.

Airsoft Gexto invites you to join them at the Exponatur 2009 to be held on the 6th, 7th, and 8th of December 2009 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Bilbao, Spain. Exponatur is an exposition for outdoor, adventure, and alternative entertainment which is held every year. This year, the USA will be the guest country for the event. There will be conferences, direct sales of sports clothing and equipment, and of course check the Airsoft Gexto area while you are there.

This event is the second round in the England vs. Scotland series organised by Stirling Airsoft and this will find out who shall hold the Stirling Shield for one year. Event will be held at Catterick Urban Training Site... "December 5 -6th 2009 will see the second Stirling Old Enemy game. The weekend will be run as any normal Stirling themed game with a points system to decide the winner. Multiple objectives running over the weekend.

Now, back to the 70s with Elite Action Game's Tour of Duty - Vietnam Airsoft... "Tet 1968. As had become the norm in recent years, both the US / ARVN forces and the NVA/VC observed a truce during the New Year. ARVN forces were stood down and many personnel had returned to their family homes to celebrate. US forces were on a lesser state of alert. No-one in a position of authority expected anything other than Tet fireworks and hangovers.
