Airsoft Retreat is promoting a new event, the Combat Missions... "Combat Missions is a competitive airsoft event designed to challenge teams and test how well they perform facing a variety of scenarios. Teams of 6 players will compete against an OpFor team comprised of actors and staff members that will provide a consistent challenge. Teams will be graded over the course of three scenarios and winners will be determined based on their scores.
This airsoft event really gets your attention --- A BRAWL!!!. The Battlecreek Brawl being organised by the SJAG and the Action Games League (AGL) will be held on the 9th until the 10th of February 2008. Ouch! Limit is 550fps. The organisers say that this is not a competition but more of different scenarios, a friendly game event. A fellowship party Saturday night will follow.

The Battle of Hürtgen Forest was overshadowed by the American victory in the Battle of the Bulge, and as a result, few books and articles have been written about it.

Airsoft Pacific is organising Operation Maddog to be held on the 6th to the 7th of October 2007. Cost of participation is US$35 which needs to be paid on site. There's a an overnight camping for early arrivals at the event site. Airsoft Pacific started as a place where Airsoft enthusiasts local to Oregon could gather to discuss events, equipment, teams, competition, and much more about the local Airsoft scene. Since then it's become a resource for the Pacific Northwest and other players all over the US.
Evike.com is sponsoring a Ranger vs Marine battle of 90 men each. Operation New Horizon II is a John Lu/Best of USA Marketing event that will be held on the 15th of September 2007 in Hesperia, California. Cost of participation is US$40 for John Lu Game veterans (those who have participated in previously organised gams) and US$60 for non-veterans. Those participating as Rangers are required to wear the 3-color Woodland Camo while the Marines are required to bring MARPAT loadouts.
