Big militaria and airsoft event that is held in Osaka, Japan is just a few days away. The Shot Show Japan 2013 is the largest event that happens in Osaka where there lots of militaria collectibles, airsoft guns and gear on sale, and this will be on Saturday, 30th of November 2013. If you're planning to go there, take a bus or train as there are no parking spaces available.

We have learned from a posting by Erik Hickly, Chief of Staff Lion Claws, that they have suspended Operation Trade Winds for the time being as they have to sort out the venue given issues at booking Fort Worden with finality, and originally scheduled for the September 27 to 29, 2013. Those who have already paid will be refunded. The problem here is fixing the date according to Erik in his post at the Lion Claws forum.

Whilst their country is considered small in terms of land area and population, the airsoft community in the Czech Republic has a knack of punching above their weight. They hold the largest airsoft event in the world and one of the groups, Airsoft Wars, recently concluded another one with over a thousand players. Called Protector X, this was held last 26 to 28 July 2013. This ha s alot of role playing complete with the outfits and looks like it was a blast...

The two day event, Operation Black Shield 3, which was organised by Airsoft Extreme and SC Village two weekends back, now has the event photos available online. Story still goes back to the Cold War where the US Forces battle it out against the Soviets to protect the American Way of Life (as they always say during the cold war).

One of the biggest and longest running airsoft events in the world, Berget, just concluded the 11th annual event last 25 to 29 of June. The background story for this year's event is in the Republic of Lerando which is suffering decline of the economy as its manufacturing base was offshored to the Far East. The government has to battle the criminal organisations battling for supremacy in the country.
