The team at Prime Mech Airsoft in France demo their custom work which is a M4A1 CQBR SOPMOD BLOCK 2, also known as the MK18 RIS II Black (featuring a Daniel Defense rail), which is internally upgraded with a Gate ASTER II Bluetooth control system, a 13:1 ratio/12-tooth high-speed gear set, and a high-torque 22 TPA motor, resulting in a performance of 1.4 Joules with 0.32g BBs.

L'Antre Du Dingo goes over the EMG/Golden Eagle Daniel Defense Mk18 GBBR airsoft rifle which he bought for €340 and notes that whilst it has full Daniel Defense markings, it has several quality control issues. These include parts that were not properly tightened, an unusual hop-up system that provides inconsistent performance, and a magazine that leaks gas. He was also disappointed with the rifle's performance out of the box, stating that it is not on par with newer airsoft platforms.

Daniel Defense released a quick video showcasing their new DD4 model rifles, including the DD4 V7, DD4 V7 SLW, and SPRIII.
