They occupy American land and have our towns are in a vice grip of propaganda and brutal control. It is up to you to fight the fight! You have feld to the mountains and have gathered a band of fighters to take up the cause. The winter snows make it difficult to return but offer you protection from those who hunt you!

Upcoming event by Battlesim.com... "This year's Long Winter will simulate the link up between US 1st Army and British XXX Corps that happened on Jan 14, 1945. A small squad was sent out on Jan 12 from 3rd Battalion, 347th Infantry from a small village near St. Hubert to link up with British troops. Participants will be housed and feed for the weekend. There will be 3 major playable sides: German, American and British.

"The Battle of Hürtgen Forest was fought in an area of heavy forestation, of some 50 square miles in an area that begins about 5 miles south and east of Aachen, Germany and falls into a triangle outlined by Aachen, Düren and Monschau. The Battle of Hürtgen Forest was overshadowed by the American victory in the Battle of the Bulge, and as a result, few books and articles have been written about it.
