Company of Heroes 3

The World War II Real Time Strategy game “Company of Heroes” is coming back. For players who have experienced playing the game in the Western Front (“Company of Heroes”) and Eastern Front (“Company of Heroes 2”), they get to play in the Mediterranean theatre when “Company of Heroes 3” gets released in 2022.

The award winning game franchise, which was first released in 2006 to near-universal acclaim, will have the third chapter set in the North African campaign and Italy in World War II. It will have a dynamic turned-based system with real time missions and skirmishes. A strategic map is introduced in the game to allow the player to plan on the invasion of Italy. In the single player campaign mode, it is an Allied-campaign only whilst in the multiplayer mode, the player can select to play U.S., British or German forces.

Another is the introduction of a pause button which will freeze the action so one can queue up orders to the units in play. In the campaign there will be partisan fighters with RTS missions as well as set-games in the famous battles in the Italian campaign such as Monte Cassino.

Infantry units can also do breaching, entering buildings to clear out enemies and there is a new destruction system which one can see infrastructure crumble just like in a battle in a built-up area.
