The Beretta 92X Performance Carry Pistol has finally joined the optic-ready pistol market segment with the announcement of the 92X Performance Carry Optic. The release of the pistol is due to the demand of the fans of the Beretta 92 series to have an optic ready version.

The 92X Performance pistol is already a serious upgrade to the venerable 92 pistol and it is result of collaboration with competitive shooters whose input were incorporated into the 92X Performance Carry Optic. It is compliant with the USPSA (United States Pistol Shooting Association) Carry Optic division regulations which for practical shooters, is an important requirement when choosing a pistol for competitive shooting.

It still retains the Vertec Frame and the Xtreme-S adjustable trigger; it also features a skeletonized hammer and a solid backup sight system. There are two models available --- the J92XPCO20 which has a 10 9mm round capacity and the J92XPCO21 which has a higher capacity at 15 rounds.

This model is the third of optic ready 92 pistol from Beretta, joining the 92X RDO Compact Pistol, and Beretta 92X RDO Full Size.

When purchased it comes with two magazines that have extended base plates, two Toni System optic plates, and a wraparound grip. Both models are now available to order from authorized sellers and both are priced at US$1,799.
