It's official and you can do some victory laps if you want. California SB798 has failed to pass approval and won't get another chance of hearing from the State Assembly this year. All airsoft players and businesses in California can now heave a collective sigh of relief this year and they can sleep well at night knowing that this bill won't bother them for the rest of the year.
The whole world, not only the United States, will observe the 10th year anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trace Center in New York City. This was the single largest attack on the United States soil since Pearl Harbor with more lives lost than the Japanese sneak attack that finally dragged the country to World War II. It wasn't only US citizens who died at the Twin Towers, people from other countries, races, and religions also perished on that day.
The new Czech assault rifle that can go head to head against some of the newest assault rifles our there finally gets to go to battle. According to news reports, Czech soldiers operating in Afghanistan will be using the CZ 805 BREN A1 and A2 assault rifles as part of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).
For those who have been monitoring the progress of California SB 798 (De Leon) and want it to fail, a positive development happened --- it failed to muster majority votes as required for it to pass the Committee on Public Safety when it was remanded back to the Committee by the Assembly on its third reading as based on Rule 77.2 on Substantially Amended Bills. In Iran that is, last month the Islamic Government jailed young men and women who were just out to enjoy themselves in a water fight and not even demonstrating against the government after protests were violently put down last time. So don't even think about bringing an airsoft gun to that country. Talk about being kill joys.

He narrows down to 7 types of guns for the real gun user although he says you are not really limited to those, depending on your financial capacity or the need for backups. Graham Ranson, the developer of the "Airsoft Helper" smartphone application that will help you check the power rating of your airsoft gun has released a new app for you to keep track of your hits in playing airsoft. "Kill Counter" is available at iTunes for 69p and there's an Android version but we can't seem to find it at the Android Market.
It was already 0800H when I woke up. I never realised that I slept for 8 hours sleep at a camp site. Never had that long sleep in my own bed in recent days, much more inside a tent that long ways off than a warm nice bed at home. My camp mates were still asleep, perhaps they were still in dreamland.
It was at around 0600H that I woke up, still early for the rest of the players though some were already getting ready. Some of the tents near us were dead still, with their occupants nursing a hangover and still trying to get an hour or two of sleep before they get up and get ready for the today's games. It's always nice to wake up ahead of the rest since you get to go to the toilet first and dump whatever you had last night. Our area relatively has one of the cleanest toilets as far as I am concerned.
“We better be early to find a good area to set up camp,” said Masterchief as he spoke on the phone a day before we go off to the Ground Zero National Airsoft Event 2011. “The weather report for Friday is not good, and we better be there to set up quick before it rains.” Fair enough, with almost 1700 players booked for the event, we expect cars and trucks to start muddying up the roads leading toward Ground Zero Woodland.
