April Fools Recap: Where Did All The Humor Go?

Logan

April Fools' Day just went by, and it seemed that this year it really didn't matter as there were too few April Fool stories to go by (in airsoft that is). Perhaps it just fell on a Palm Sunday, the start of the Holy Week that people just became holier than thou. We've tried looking for some cool ones that can be shared to our readers, but really, there was a dearth of jokes.

But still, there are some who managed to bring some humor on a boring Sunday.

Whilst everyone's looking for airsoft versions of some of the coolest or baddest real steel firearms in the world, and indeed there are some coming out this year, we got a tip from our on-off source who is based in Mainland China. Badass PC Cases For Badass FPS PC Gamers

Logan

I have read about these highly modified PC cases during the last CeBIT. I have resisted the urge to write about these, but then the force is just too strong for me to really resist, so I step into the darkside.

GF Point 2012: A Test Of Stamina & Airsoft Skills

Gungho Cowboy

Rarely do we hear about some tough airsoft competitions that occur around the world. We know of the Stirling Airsoft Selection process which follows the SAS Selection and it's so far the toughest in the world. Though the selection is more individual based, the GF Point is a more wide scale version, and also takes place in harsh conditions. Held last January 2012, the GF point gathered some of the more determined and tough airsoft players in Poland.

SWAT Team Fight For Their Lives In "The Raid: Redemption"

OptimusPrime

An elite SWAT Team, a ruthless crime lord, and some kickass fighting skills in 30 floors of battle adorn this much praised action film from Indonesia. I haven't watched this movie, but the trailer itself just kept me looking for more information about this movie. "The Raid: Redemption" is a low budget, simple plot, but action-packed film that movie critics say as the best action movie seen in years.

The ongoing initiatives by the US military to create apps for smartphones and easily within reach by soldiers have led to the release of their own Apps Marketplace which for the meantime will be in its prototype phase. The approved apps that can be downloaded with this prototype marketplace will be for iOS (iPhone and iPad operating system) with apps for Android based mobile phones and tablets to follow soon.

Celebrating 5 Years Of Airsoft Practical Shooting With THASA

Anonymous (not verified)

Airsoft is pretty old in Thailand, but not many know about its history. As far as I know I found myself an airsoft pistol in 1995. Back then, airsoft was very expensive. Airsoft practical shooting began to take traction in Thailand in 2005 with the introduction of the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa Gas Blowback Pistol, and airsoft skirmishing began even more accepted in Thailand with the flooding of ACM airsoft guns as they made airsoft more affordable to many 2 years later.

Airsoft Kit Wish: M1 Garand EBR Tactical Stock System

OptimusPrime

The M1 Garand airsoft gun is one that I would have as part of the my "must have" in my airsoft gun shopping list. I am a fan of this rifle as I've shot with it ages ago and I love the pinging sound it generates when the 8-round en bloc clip empties though this noise was a dead give away to Axis soldiers during World War II for them to counterattack. The GIs eventually learned how to use the sound to their advantage by making the same pinging noise to get the enemies expose themselves, thinking that they have emptied their load.
