With Europe now being the new centre of the Covid-19 pandemic, governments are implementing measures to mitigate the spread of virus and are getting even more drastic such as cancelling large gatherings and public events. In terms of airsoft, we have not heard of any large-scale airsoft event being called off by their organisers, until now --- Berget Events announced that they are cancelling Berget 18: Broken Arrow.
Berget Events posted the final video of Berget 16 (2018) which we believe also includes some footage from Berget 15 (2017). The Berget Series is one of the longest running and largest airsoft events that takes place each year with players from many parts of the world participating. This takes place at the Berget Airsoft Range in Sollefteå, Sweden.
CT Airsoft got their first part of their coverage of Berget 2018: Iron Claws up, showing them doing a raid on an enemy base... "This is Berget 16, one of the largest Milsim's in Europe. It was held in Sollefteå, Sweden with close to 1,800 players this year from 27 different country's.
The Berget Events crew posted on Facebook images of the BAVS TOW Launcher that will be put to use for Berget 15 Thunder Run event this year... "We are now ready with the description for in-game units that will be using the BAVS (Berget anti vehicle system) TOW-missile launcher during Berget 15. The launchers have armor penetrating capability beyond The BAVS AT4 and can be effective at longer ranges.
Almost a year old, but still an interesting video of Berget 11 Iron Walls. Czech Group Airsoft Wars posted this video where they took part in the action. Berget, which is one of the oldest annual events in the world, is held in Sweden where over a thousand players take part in this airsoft event looked forward to by many airsoft players worldwide.
