SHOT 2012: Echo1/ Jag Precision Booth Gets Shut Down & Videos Galore

Gungho Cowboy

Well, sometimes a bit of controversy can spice up an event. During the Shot Show 2010, the FBI visited the event with arrest warrants, and rounding up 21 executives including the Vice President of Sales of Smith & Wesson for violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. This time, it's the airsoft industry's turn to have its own issue during the event, with Echo1 USA and the Jag Precision booth shut down by the organisers (NSSF) and were escorted out of the exhibit.

Thumpy's 3-D House of Airsoft brings us the highlights of this controversy, and yes, you guessed it right, it's at the urging of Cybergun with FN Herstal over alleged copyright infringement. You can read more of this at Thumpy's Scoop it page and a video response from Peter Ho Spartan Imports, which is now owned by Cybergun:

Airsoft Medicine sends in more videos, and they're so far the most prolific in producing the Shot reports at the fastest time possible. We'll let Dr. Airsoft introduce the new videos which can be found at the Airsoft Medicine's Shot Show 2012 Coverage Playlist:

More Shot Show 2012 videos have been posted by Airsoft Medicine.  There are more videos showing Eye Pro from Smith and Wiley X, gun cases from Bulldog Cases, an interview with John Lu, and interviews from ECHO 1 just before the NSSF shut them down.

Finally! Scaar of Airsoft Austria TV (AATV) has had enough going around and checking out the booth babes as he gets down to work and send us his video reports --- all the Magpul and KWA goodies that you can watch before your own eyes. Scaar promised that he'll send in more reports, provided that he doesn't get waylaid again by the "attractions" of the show:

Kyle Easterly of Airsoft Fix promised that they will also have their own coverage and they deliver now with this video done with Mechbox.com:

Andrew from AirsoftFix and Mechbox.com got a chance to chat with Ben and Steve from Polarstar Airsoft at SHOT Show 2012 in Las Vegas. Ben shared some information on new products and updates coming from Polarstar this year, including the Version 3 Fusion Engine, a new upgraded, programmable FCU, and a possible blowback and recoil system for the Fusion Engine platform.

Check out our YouTube video:

We will have our interview with Steve up soon, where he talks about Polarstar's development and manufacturing process.

Also, follow AirsoftFix on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter for the latest updates from SHOT Show 2012.

While you're in a following mood, also keep an eye on Mechbox.com as we gear up for new content coming out at the end of the month! Mechbox.com is on Facebook and YouTube.

It's already a weekend and Shot Show ended yesterday, but the reports by the Airsoft Media is not about to end. Expect more reports as the guys get to check their photos, videos and notes to provide an even better picture of what had happened at the event. So stay tuned as there will still be more submissions.
