NYC Airsoft & VOA Test Out The New Stryker Airsoft CQB Site

Editor's Note: Moondog, together with New York City Airsoft and VOA decided to test out a new CQB arena that recently opened in New Jersey. With New Yorkers unable to play within their own city, they had to make a list of all airsoft skirmish sites that their players can readily go to. Stryker Airsoft can be an attractive venue for players from North East.

Here's a promo trailer video of Stryker Airsoft made by Airsoft Invasion before Moondog's actual skirmish video and short take about the facility.

New York City Airsoft organized a scouting trip to New Jersey's newest indoor CQB facility, Stryker Airsoft in Hacketstown. A little over one hour outside of New York City.

Open less than a week, the pro-shop was still being built and stocked, but the staging area was ready and full of local players. Located at a former indoor soccer field, the arena is over 14,000sq ft and easily 120ft in any direction. Team VOA, Vanguard 6, and players from New York including Mitsukai, Ghostrider, The Kiss and Gunner joined about 20 local players at the field.

Like a miniature CQB City, this field felt huge and nicely laid out. The arena is a mix of buildings, barriers and barrels, which really gives this CQB arena the feeling of playing outdoors. And with the advantage of playing indoors, there should be far less airsofters hibernating this winter.
