The first good news is that you get a piece of movie history with this and even better news is that you don't need to undergo a facial surgery just to use this. "The very same design used in the 1997 John Woo movie Face Off, these pistols replicate the styling exactly with the exception of silver frame in place of the originals golden frame; a touch no doubt in an attempt to cater to the less gaudy crowd.

As a basic pattern 1911 it takes WA 1911 single-stack magazines so both the pistol and magazines will fit in 1911 compatible holsters and pouches. The silver frame is matched with silver slide bearing custom markings and the black smooth finish grips have the emblazoned Asian dragon motif as seen in the movie. The slide has compensator slot to expose the dummy compensator holes drilled into the outer barrel; on a real pistol it serves to trade in a little power and for more stable shooting (and a whole lot more noise) but does nothing for an Airsoft pistol other then make it look cool.

A skeletoned trigger and hammer give it a nice custom touch but the standard lay out of trigger, mag release catch, slide release and grip panel safety means it handles like any other 1911.

It clocks in at a point blank range comfortable 235 fps which might not be the most powerful pistol fps out there but its certainly enough for indoor or typical pistol range engagements. Of course as a WA pistol it does this on HFC134 gas, if you are so inclined you could ask us about modifying this to take Green Gas and shoot more powerfully if you would prefer the option."
