The M1911, this semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45ACP, is certainly the most famous handgun in the world. Designed by John Moses Browning, the weapon was far ahead of its time, robust and reliable compared to its competitors. The pistol remained in service for nearly 74 years in service in the United States, having been used in numerous conflicts such as the two world wars and the Vietnam War. Nowadays, the weapon is overtaken by modern pistols, having a higher capacity magazine, lighter and more reliable, but is still used by professionals. It also finds its place among collectors and sports shooters where it can be found with variants that are often magnificent and decorated in an original way. In popular culture, the weapon is present in a lot of works, films, mangas and video games.

Rossi offers here a custom 1911, distinguished from the original model by polymer plates and a stylized slide, as well as a Picatinny rail under the barrel. The replica has, mounted by default, a wedge as well as a short spring (Hi speed buffer) allowing the GBB to bring the bolt forward more quickly, this assembly allows a greater rate of fire but deactivates the bolt retainer, this assembly can be dismantled in order to recover the locking of the breech at the end of the magazine.
