Eddie of Evike.com sent in this more comprehensive press release on the version 3 fusion engine gearbox from PolarStar Airsoft... "The internal workings of the FEV3 follow the same design as the FEV2 and share many of the same parts so it offers the same stellar downrange performance and rock solid reliability as its predecessor. However, the FEV3 does have one rather awesome new feature when it comes to adaptability.

Unlike the FEV2, which was designed specifically for the M4/M16 series, the FEV3 will not be limited to just the AK series rifle. This is because it has been designed to interface with the selector plate and related components of your AEG’s gearbox so it will be possible to adapt the engine for use in multiple rifle models which share the Version 3 gearbox without any major modification.

The FEV3 will come complete with AK trigger, selector plate and internal selector components for the AK series AEG. However, by installing a different nozzle or rifle specific conversion kit, you will be able to expand the number of rifles it will be compatible with. In most cases all you will need to do is change out the trigger and selector components with ones from your AEG, install a different Fusion Engine nozzle and the engine is ready to use in a completely different model of rifle."
