The MOA Exhibition 2023 has come to a successful conclusion thanks to the efforts of Eric Chu of QRF Magazine and the rest of the MOA staff. Sunday usually sees a tapering off of visitors but there was still a substantial crowd when we left the Taipei World Trade Center late in the afternoon.

So far, I can confidently say that through all the years we have been covering this event, this is the most attended until Eric reveals the numbers post event. After a rather slow restart when Covid-9 restrictions were lifted last year, the event roared in 2023.

It has a big number of exhibitors for an event with a very airsoft theme and the line for the entrance tickets was long. The local airsoft community was in full force as well as there is a bigger contingent from Taiwan’s armed forces.

There will be a lot of interesting products that airsoft players can look forward to next year, provided that things go on schedule. There will be more gas blowback rifles from the bigger vendors and even more parts to go with these made by the smaller shops. Whether you prefer heavy guns or lightweight compact ones, there is one to suit your okaying style.

Even with the economic ails besetting the world, the airsoft industry us is resilient, continuing to produce even more new products, licensed or not. With what we have seen at the MOA Exhibition 2023, we see even bigger projects if the companies decide to become more ambitious, and they should be. We hope that 2024 will produce event better products and designs.
