In remembrance of the September 11, 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center in New York City, ESS have embarked on a 25% Back Program with their limited edition Remember 9.11  products. 25% of the sales from these series will be donated the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a charity organisation that is dedicated to building customised homes for severely wounded veterans.

Stephen Siller was a New York City firefighter who gave his life at the World Trade Center in trying to save lives of those trapped at the Towers. He was supposed to be on his way to a golf when the World Trade Center was struck and he returned to his station, Squad 1, to get to the scene. When the route, via the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, to Ground Zero was already blocked, he strapped 60 pounds of gear and ran through the Tunnel to try and meet up with his Squad.

The ESS Remember 9.11 Limited Edition Series is comprised of four different products that range between US$90.00 to US$135.00. Eye Safety Systems, Inc, (ESS) announced Remember 9.11, a charitable sales program designed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001 by raising funds for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Named for a firefighter who died on 9.11, The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healing and providing hope by building customized homes for severely-wounded combat veterans, and assisting the families of fallen U.S. Military and public safety officers.
