The ICS Transform4, the electric blowback with the split gearbox offering from ICS, is slowly making its way to reviewers and the latest to give us a review are the Airsoft Medicine crew with Dr. Airsoft and Rangemaster Larry going over this promising new generation ICS AEG...
ICS posted a video which briefly shows the ICS Transform4 CXP-UK1 AEG being test fired showing the blowback feature. This and another model will be released very soon to airsoft retailers world wide.. "ICS latest product with a brand-new EBB (Electric Blow back) split gearbox, plus integration of safety selector lever and spring release function."
ICS are not going to make us for long with their new Tranform4 series as they are set to release two models from this series --- the CXP-UK1 and CXP-UK1R. These have their new EBB feature in their famous split gearbox technology and their designs and material have been improved further. With this release, the first batches will come with the Transform4 wristband which will be released on a limited run.
ICS posted at their website a photo slide of their ICS Transform4 Experience Event which looked like it happened over the weekend somewhere in Taiwan. Part of the series of their new Transform4 technology where their split gearbox technology now has the blowback feature and using even more quality materials and build.
Now, we just await for the official release of the Transform4 to dealers worldwide.
I guess it's time to get those lapel mics to use when doing these presentations rather than shotgun mics as background noise are still a problem when we take videos of events as big as IWA & Outdoor Classics. Jet del Castillo of DesertFox Airsoft also visited the booth of ICS during the SHOT Show 2014. He finds Rain to help explain what their new product, the Transform4, is all about. The Transform4 is an a ICS AEG that we are very much keen on learning about more, especially the performance since it's the first Split Gearbox that has the Blowback function. It also incorporates the KeyMod Rail System design, and thus will be one of the sleeker and lighter AEGs out there.
