Jeff The Kid does a comprehensice review of the Mosin Nagant Model PU 1891/39 airsoft rifle from Zeta Lab... "Do you think Russia’s strongest rifle is AK? Then you are wrong! Long before the advent of AK, there was a rifle that led the Soviet Red Army to overthrow Nazi Germany. It was this Mosin-Nagant (Russian: Винтовка Мосина). The movie "The Enemy Now" appeared in models M91/30 and M91. /30 PU and M38 carbines are all used by soldiers of the Soviet Red Army.
Latest video review from SCDTV features the Mosin Nagant Rifle by Zeta Lab. They give you a brief background which is done really nice and the version they have is the M1944 one. They noticed that the bayonet, though it's plastic is strong enough to cause injury, then why not just use steel since it's as a dangerous (we shrug here). Either Irek is in a very jolly mood or may have eaten something bad.
Get Reload made a big mark down on the retail price of the The Mosin–Nagant Zeta-Lab Realwood, Full Steel Mosin Nagant Carbine w/ bayonet 2 Gas Bolt version. From the original US$380.00 they shaved off 21% and now their price is US$299.00. Shipping cost not included yet in the new price...
Get Reload announce that they too have the Gen.3 Mosin Nagant Sniper Rifles in stock. When they mention Gen. 3, these are the latest gas-powered versions now developed under the auspices of Ares Airsoft. They have two versions: the basic one which comes with the usual dummy bayonet, and the scoped version which comes with its own PU scope apart from the bayonet.
I guess this will be available right in time for Christmas as Get Reload have some photos for you to feast your eyes on. They're expecting an ETA of December 2011 and accepting pre-orders, that is, if you want to part with your US$475.00 this early, but it might just spur them on to go faster in production.
Below are two photos of the prototype courtesy of Get Reload.
This new product from Zeta Lab will surely get Russian loadout fans excited. The AS VAL AEG was made in the 1980s and is used by the Spetsnaz and other select units in the Soviet Army and the KGB. It has an AK-type side mount which you can mount a PSO-1 Scope, but is not included in the Zeta Lab Package. You can now pre-order this at Airsoft Panda for US$475.00.
It's World War II again! Well, sorta, as the funny guys from AATV makes a comparison between a Mosin Nagant and Mauser Kar98K airsoft replicas. In their second video, they give us a good run through on the G&G GR4 G26 AEG. Enjoy the videos and get informed and entertained by AATV. Who would you think will win in their Nintendo DS battle?

Airsoft Panda is now taking pre-orders of the Zeta Lab Full Steel Mosin Nagant Gas Bolt (Bent Bolt which costs US$150.00. This is lighter and easier to cock for those who find the airsoft rifle hard to move the bolt. It is also high power and has a short distance for reloading. This means that you can shoot faster and perhaps farther with this bolt.
Airsoft Panda uploaded a video at YouTube showing you how to take down the Zeta Lab Real Wood and Steel Rifle. Unlike real steel rifles, this one takes more steps which makes field stripping a chore. But then, this is an airsoft replica. We'll be reviewing this rifle as soon as customs release the package that's on its way to us.
