We get another peek on the upcomong SLR SOLO M4 Series under the SLR Airsoftworks brand, which is an agreement between DYTAC and SLR Rifleworks. These airsoft rifles will be using the SLR SOLO Series Rails and will feature the DYTAC quick spring change in the gearbox. Ares Airsoft released a video showing that their airsoft version of the L1A1 Self Loading Rifle (SLR) has the same exact length as the real L1A1 SLR, with the video showing that the length is 1143mm. That length is what is indicated in the Wikipedia entry on the L1A1 SLR but according to  Paradata, which is a website in the history of the British Parachute Regiment and Airborne forces, the length is 1180mm.
