Pistol Pete sent us a link from the Kit Up! about Ricky the Redneck of Vizual Candi Productions. The guys there are impressed about his gun handling skills: "Look at how he shoots on the move…I haven’t seen anything that smooth since…well, I honestly don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything move this way. Not operationally anyway." This got my interest and went to the Vizual Candi YouTube Channel.

While you may find Ricky the Redneck funny, I find him seriously funny. I am not really a fan of "guns, mo guns, and mo guns for everyone" videos, but these videos have something to share, such as gun maintenance, self-defense, and of course safety, just like the "The Sound of Freedom" video which is about fireworks explosion gone wrong. Other lessons such as "One Shot One Kill" tells that if you're not a highly trained sniper, better leave those hostage situations to the professionals. And alcohol and guns (and fireworks) don't mix well.

David Reeder of Kit Up! thinks Ricky the Redneck is an operator. Well, it takes one to know one, so I'm not doubting it. I haven't seen anyone move funnily that way, and still shoots well, especially in airsoft. Optimus Prime sometimes makes some booty shake when he sets up at up a bottleneck area in airsoft games where he gets most of his hits, but then he does it awfully and not for YouTube consumption, I warn you.

If you're been too serious watching firearms instructions from Travis Haley or Chris Costas, and other famous firearms instructors, Ricky The Redneck would help you loosen up. Sometimes learning something has to be fun, even if by just watching videos.
