Merlin's Airsoft News posted a report on the recently concluded Milsim West Defense At Grozny event... "The weather for Defense at Grozny was “polar” opposite to the weather at Raid on Rostov, going from 100+ degrees and 100% humidity to below freezing temperatures at the darkest moments of the night.

This event was no different, there were causalities to the cold, but we’ve got a separate article to address the issues of preparedness at an extended event coming later.

For DaG, the biggest difference to me was the space. You could fit RoR’s AO into the FOB and surrounding woods at Camp Shelby…that the FOB just constitutes one of four large villages located with in the forest boundaries."
