Team Lemon Airsoft presents some armour types for airsoft use. These are usually for loadout impressions rather than actual ballistic armour... "In this video we have Anthony with us to explore the different types of armor you can use in airsoft to keep yourself protected! We even go as far as giving you impressions of what it is like with each of these different types of airsoft armors, from floor padding to your standard polymer dummy plate. We're using 0.25g bbs for this video, from 2 feet or less away to test which armor material you might prefer over another!

This is way closer than some of you would want to get shot with an airsoft gun without armor, this video covers shooting the protected spots, because we all know that yes it would hurt like hell to get hit with semi or auto without protection.

Personally I love the polymer plates, Anthony loves the flooring foam as it fits perfectly in his vest. The foam plates (not the flooring foam) at close range will have some deformities in the surface of the foam. After recording, you could feel the dents in the foam plates as opposed to the flooring foam or plastic plates.

You can either DIY or buy your airsoft armor, but be sure it is up to the task!"
