Making Things Right & Staying Classy

Logan

Nothing wrong with giving some public display admiration to someone you respect. But when you're doing your job, sometimes such excitement should have its own time and place. Being part of the airsoft media, while we are mainly more of the informal types rather full time airsoft journalists, a degree of professionalism is still expected from us however amateurish we go about our jobs (like us at Popular Airsoft, we are professional amateurs, if there's a term for that). We do make our mistakes and rather than keeping it to ourselves, it's always admirable if we admit them openly and going to great lengths just to make things right.

This is what the Tominator of the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog did, even if the incident happened almost three months ago. It's always never too late to apologize and make up for it. Even better, he made a video with of it.

So far, this is the second example we have watched with the first one made by Thumpy in his "Apology from Thumpy: How NOT to play Airsoft". Tom and Thumpy get our respect as they man-up to admit their mistakes and making public apologies. In airsoft, the honor system goes beyond just calling our hits; being able to do such acts of contrition are signs of being great gentlemen (and ladies).

All's well that ends well. Now we can all sing "Kumbaya".
