LG’s Action Cam Lets You Stream Live Airsoft Action On YouTube Over LTE

Logan

The Action Camera market just got a bit more crowded again with another electronics giant joining in. LG , announced the LG Action CAM LTE and for the airsoft YouTube celebrities, this might be a good tool to show the airsoft action live by streaming it to YouTube via LTE.

Now, you might think that you will need a LTE smartphone from LG or any Android smartphone manufacturer to use the LG Action CAM LTE. It does not as the action cam has LTE already built-in for its compact size. Apart from LTE built-in, it has GPS, a gyroscope and an accelerometer.

Curious about the camera? The camera can record UHD (30 fps), FHD (60 fps), and HD (120 fps) video so you can select how the footage’s quality will be when you go into action. For livestreaming on YouTube, you will be limited to 30 fps HD (720p). For stills, the camera can 12.3 mp photos with its 150-degree wide angle lens.

With its ability to record on UHD (Ultra High Definition/4K), you will be worried about storage. The LG Action CAM LTE will allow you to store video with a microSD card up to 2 TB. Full HD recording will be about 4 hours while livestreaming will be 2 hours with its 1,400mAh battery.

The LG Action CAM LTE will be launched in South Korea next month and will be followed by European and North America markets after. Pricing has not been mentioned in the press release,  with the remote access and waterproof housing being released later this year. Press release can be read right below the image:
