­One of the most anticipated airsoft events by Filipino airsofters overseas, THE GATHERING, is now announced to take place at the Longmoor Training Camp on the 15th of March 2008 with the help of Ambush Adventures. This is the biggest event of ACE Brigade (Airsoft Combat Enthusiast Brigade) in the United Kingdom. ACE Brigade is the largest group comprised mainly of Filipino airsofters who have now made the United Kingdom their home. The first THE GATHERING saw over 100 airsoft players participating and enjoying this fun-filled airsoft event.

With ACE Brigade now having 7 airsoft teams, over 150 players and friends, and one more team to add very soon, The Gathering is sure to be a hit among airsoft players in the UK, Filipinos and British airsofters alike. This is not a Filipino-airsoft players only event, and teams and players invited by the teams are more than welcome to participate. ACE Brigade, while initially comprised of Filipino airsoft players in the UK, is fast becoming a multicultural group. Players who want to join this group are more than welcome, as long as they play fairly and are fun to skirmish with.

The first The Gathering held last 12 May 2007 at Combat South in Porstmouth was a great success with the founding teams of ACE Brigade all present and accounted for. The Gathering: Reloaded 2008 promises to be a much more fun and bigger event.

Team SAF from the Isle of Man will join the rest of teams for the very firs at this event. They've been preparing since the last quarter of 2007 to ensure that they will not miss this.

With the infectious Filipino-humour and antics, this will be a memorable event for everyone. Raffle prizes and some entertainment are in store for everyone.
