Can't Afford A CornerShot? Why Not Try The AngleSight?

Gungho Cowboy

One of the wishes of the airsoft community is to have a version of the Cornershot, which unfortunately is an ubergizmo that would make it out of reach for most of us given all the technologies included in the kit such as the monitor, light source and laser designator that even governments don't equip their armies with it (said to be around US$5,000 or even higher) and remains limited to special units. Making the shot around corners or extreme angles without exposing yourself is a great idea, and we are fortunate that a simpler and more affordable way to make that impossible shot is available.

Developed by Accutact, the AngleSight is a very straightforward solution when firing at angles or obstacles without exposing the shooter. Think of a very simple periscope with just 1x magnification that has been adopted for rifles and pistols -- with the AngleSight being a dual-path mirror system. Using the AngleSight, you can rotate it at 360° so from you can shoot from the awkward angle position back to the standard one quickly

Since it fits pictanniy rails, it is easy to install, and you can use it as a standalone especially for pistols, or in combination with your optics such as red dot sights. Since it operates on a mirror principle, there are no electronics in this which means less batteries to carry around.

There are three models for this: the Standard; Quick Release; and Quick Release & Positive Lock and the base model starts at US$249.00 which can be said to be way affordable than salivating for a Cornershot unit.

Again, if the word about this product gets around to some quick thinking replica makers in the Far East, expect it to be available soon, unless Accutact already has an airsoft partner, or hired a battery of lawyers in the region to watch out for unlicensed airsoft versions.
