Tomo of X-Fire/PDI-Japan promised us to send a report of the Shizouka Hobby Show 2009 with photos to boot, just like he did last year. It is at this show that Tokyo Marui usually makes some major announcements of their new products. And indeed, they didn't let us down. There has been discussions in airsoft forums of the TM L96 series and the FN Five-seveN pistol. Now Tomo shows to us what has been at the show which is ongoing until the 17th of May. Surely, something that most TM fans will look forward to and anticipate the release of PDI-Japan on new upgrade parts for these new products.

"Tokyo Marui announced the L-96 Series which is their main release for summer. The inner parts are mixed with the VSR-10.But some parts are not compatible. For example,  the Cylinder bore is a little small because they want to close the real rifle size (still almost as big...).

Anyway,this rifle has a potential to change the current bolt system,that has MAG on real position.

The chamber position is not changed, so they stated that the cylinder carries BB to forwarded chamber.

Here are the new inner parts.

The price will be 29,800 Yen & release 2 colors on this summer.I believe this one will be best sale on this year

The next release is the Pistol the FN 5-7 (Five-seveN).

This pistol has the 2nd biggest bore cylinder of the Tokyo MArui's Pistol line (No 1.is the Desert Eagle) Very hard action Of course!!! And good accuracy. The Under rail is not toy size, and it is just like the real Picatinny. Almost same price as the TM HI-CAPA5.1 and they plan to release this summer.

I also want to tell you about Marui's color variations. This summer they will release OD ,TAN,Silver & Half tone in rotation. The pistols covered are the M92F, HI-CAPA5.1, Pyson, VSR Old type, M4, SIG, GLOCK, and the HICAPA 4.3.
