Wilson Combat continues the tradition of releasing handguns based on the 1911 design with the relese of the SFT9 pistol. It features a double stack magazine with a 15-round capacity with upgrades that are expected by today’s shooters. With the higher capacity magazine, it is a serious sidearm that can be depended on.

The frame of the SFT9 is made out of CNC’d 7075-T6 aluminium with a 4.25″ stainless steel match-grade barrel with an externally fluted (externally) chamber area and a flush cut reverse crowned muzzle. With the reduced diameter of the frame and the proprietary TRAK grip-strap texture should help control felt recoil and as well as reduction of muzzle flip when fired.

Going to the stainless steel slide, it has a black corrosion-resistant DLC (Diamond-like-Carbon) physical vapor-deposition finish with wide front and rear cocking serrations and For target acquisition, it has the Wilson Combat Battlesight rear sight and red fiber optic front sight.

The price of the Wilson Combat SFT9 pistol may make some people’s eyes go wide as the price is US$3,095 for the basic version with a higher end price of US$3,195. There are optional features that include front sights, finishes, finish combinations, ambidextrous safety and trigger pad lengths. Two magazines are shipped with the package as standard.
