This is more of an administrative change with regards to business focus of both companies as they are sister companies (or as MadBull say at their website, "Brother Companies). MadBull Airsoft officially takes over the licenced Daniel Defense line that were under the SOCOM Gear Brand.
It seems that Gold is the new black for airsoft as we have seen several products having some gold-plating or gold paint coating coming out in the past days. MadBull Airsoft gets back its Midas Touch again and is offering a Limited Edition Noveske KX3 Gold which they initially released two years ago. With only 200 pieces made, you better reserve one of these if you want one as you might have to wait for another 2 years before they release again.

Nope, not for skirmishing, even for those with a mean streak. These MadBull new products are aluminium and glass BBs specifically made for target practice, and we don't know if they'll be accepted as ammo for competition purposes. Made without bubbles, the aluminium version weighs 0.30g and the glass one is .28g. We guess this is more for precision target practice of those who have sniper rifles or airsoft guns with high FPS. We state again: NOT FOR SKIRMISHING.
