This is an even which will show different sports disciplines so you might find another sport that you can be interested in too.

The Hong Kong leg of the G&G World Cup Shooting Competitionwill be on the 9th and 10th of August 2014. Interested teams will need to sign up via eHobby Asia as they are the partner for the leg. This is the Hong Kong selection wherein the winners will then compete in the finals that will happen in Taiwan next year, with their airfare and hotel accommodations answered for by G&G.

Yesterday morning in Hong Kong, the news media were on the scene reporting about a shoot-out in Lok Ching House, Kai Ching Estate where a man was shot by a 51 year old unemployed man. The Flying Tigers which is the nickname of Hong Kong Police's elite Special Duties Unit (SDU) we're called in. Two members abseiled from outside while other team members worked their way up via emergency stairs. Flashbangs were tossed and some shots were fired, however the suspect committed suicide rather than be arrested.

According to Public Enemy, after a wake-up call by Hong Kong Police in raids last week, airsoft shops in Hong Kong are now proactively going to test all gun orders that they meet local fps limits at below 2 joules or 465fps and if they don't meet such, they will then be downgraded (or replaced with one that meets the limits) before shipped out. If your country has lower fps limits, why not take the opportunity to have your order downgraded too as a free service?

If we have read about civilians threatening other people with airsoft guns, here's one from Hong Kong  as reported by Public Enemy. A man was arrested for threatening workers who were renovating a separate unit on the 10th Floor Taikoo Shing Ning Court in Quarry Bay. The man was annoyed by the noise being made by the workers doing renovation as they were tearing down the walls. This made him barge through the door with an MP5 airsoft gun scaring them to stop the noise.

Airsoft skirmish fields in Hong Kong must be wary about this as a Hamas video footage shows a group of Hamas fighters training in one of the sites in Hong Kong. Hong Kong has already big problems of hordes of shoppers from Mainland China snapping up goods from every high end shop in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui and now a group branded as terrorists by the US, EU, and Israel now doing training there?
