Most recently, one of the top figures in the world of airsoft, Clarence Lai AKA the Airsoft Surgeon, has joined the growing legions of Stag-15 Full Metal M4 fans. The Airsoft Surgeon put the Stag-15 through its paces at Hong Kong’s massive CQB Plaza and after a thorough evaluation, the Surgeon’s diagnosis: thumbs up!

This is a tough one to guess, speaking about us, but for the ultimate gun enthusiast, this might not be a no-brainer. Echo1 USA Airsoft just sent in their latest puzzle for upcoming 2009 airsoft gun and by the looks of it, it seems to have SCAR muzzle, a SA58 body, and a Minimi stock. Some say it's going to be a SCAR-Heavy. But what we have mentioned here is that they are from the FN family. Prove us wrong please. Fireup your Photoshops!

For those who have got very good pair of eyes in guessing the upcoming Echo1 USA Airsoft support weapon, pat yourselves on the back. It is indeed an M240B as the latest image they sent confirms what almost everyone has been right about... "We just got these pics of the newest Echo1USA model. For those of you who guessed M240 Bravo you are correct! These pics are of the official proto-type, the final production model with have different paint/finish.

If you're waiting for this, better open a new browser window and go to Airsoft GI... "The ECHO1 SCAR (ASC) is the latest in Echo 1's long line of affordable AEGs. The Echo 1 ASC has many of the same features of other brands at a fraction of the price with a few of its own. It includes flip up front and rear sights, polymer lower receiver, one piece metal upper receiver, side folding retractable stock, convertible outer barrel, sling attachment points, and an ambidextrous magazine release.

We guess that two support type weapons are coming to Echo1 USA Airsoft with their teasers that just came out. One is speculated to be an M240B, and the latest teaser is a Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova (RPK), the 1950s era light machine gun which is very much in use by insurgents all over the world and the countries of the former Soviet Union. No details yet on when this is going to be released. Perhaps will be released late 2009. For the meantime, just look at the teaser below. :)

Don't take our word for it as the image sent in by Echo1 USA Airsoft is hazy enough to make a final confirmation if indeed it is an M240B. You might say it is an M249, but Echo1 has already released their own versions of that support weapon. But it makes us look into the M240B as it is the heavier cousin of the M249, thus you'll notice the lines something similar to the M249. Said to be better than the M60, it has performed well supporting troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.

No recommended tracerr bbs, but most likely the MadBull Dark Knight series of tracer bbs which come in various colours will do. Nice for night games.
