The stream of optic ready handguns just continues. The latest to be introduced in the market is a compact one that packs a good number of rounds, the Hellcat Pro OSP 9mm Handgun from Springfield Armory and comes with the Shield SMSC.

The Hellcat Pro OSP has a 15+1 capacity and comes with both an Optical Sight Pistol (OSP) configuration handgun and a Shield SMSc 4 MOA optic.  This optic weighs just over ½ ounce and the included CR2032 battery can be used for years without replacement. It is co-witnessed with the U-Dot sights of the pistol and already has a high visibility tritium/luminescent front sight paired with a Tactical Rack rear sight.

As expected with newer pistols, is has the accessory rail to mount weapons accessories and features a hammer forged barrel and the company claims it delivers balance.

Also part of the package when purchased, the Hellcat Pro pistol comes with two flush-fitting 15-round magazines.

The Shield optic weighs just a hair over ½ ounce and is powered by a single included CR2032 battery for years of use without replacement. The optic automatically adjusts the brightness of the dot for seamless use, and it co-witnesses with the Hellcat Pro’s U-Dot™ sights that are made up of a high visibility tritium & luminescent front sight paired with a Tactical Rack rear sight.

Ensuring you can mount the light or laser of your choice on the Hellcat Pro, the pistol features a versatile Picatinny rail on the dustcover portion of the frame.
