The 10mm handgun segment of the firearms market is slowly growing. Smith & Wesson got theirs for the M&P series and Springfield Armory also has offerings with 10mm versions from their XDM series. SIG Sauer doesn’t to be left behind from the fun and just announced the 10mm version of their popular P320 line, the P320-XTen handgun.

As a 10mm, it does pack a punch and the company calls I the most powerful P320 ever made.  A striker-fired pistol, it features the new XSeries grip module and has a 5” bull barrel.  It is also optics ready with the Nitron finished XSeries slide and one can mount SIG’s ROMEO2 optic as well as the RMR red dot sight from Trijicon. If there is no mounted optic, the shooter can use the X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights.

With the XSeries grip module, the handling of the P320-XTen is more like a 9mm instead of a 10mm, making it manageable to shoot with the Flat XSeries trigger with 90-degree break. With two 15-round magazines that are part of the package when purchased, that’s some firepower ready.
