It is really hard to keep track of the variations of the highly successful P320 pistol from SIG Sauer. The latest release is the P320 XFive DH3 Pistol that is designed by Daniel Horner of Team SIG. What makes this pistol a good design is that can be used as a competition pistol and at the same time will feel at home in a tactical situation including home defence.

But first, some information about Daniel Horner for those unfamiliar with the stars of competitive shooting as provided by the company:

Daniel Horner is a multi-discipline World Champion shooter having captured over 125 championship titles at the world, national, regional, and state level. His titles include: 10 USPSA Multi-Gun National Championships, 4 3-Gun National Championships, 2 International Sniper Competitions, 2 IDPA National Championships, an IPSC Shotgun National Championship, an NRA World Shooting Championship, and many more.

Daniel was a Sergeant First-Class in the U.S. Army and was recruited to the Army to join the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU), where he became one of the most decorated shooters in team history. He served as the Coach of the USAMU Action Shooting Team, and during his service was twice selected as the Military Marksmanship Association Soldier of the Year.

As a Pro Shooter for Team SIG, Daniel competes primarily in multi-gun matches and long-range rifle competition.

The P320 XFive DH3 shares a feature with the XFive Legion which is the tungsten-infused XFull grip module. As expected in new handguns as well as competition pistol, the XFive DH3 also features , flared mag well, optics-ready slide, night sights, skeletonised flat trigger, and  is also lightweight at 43.5-ounce. It can be customized as it comes with two different 1911-style recoil springs, a 12-pound, and a 14-pound.

When purchased the package comes with three 21-round magazines that also have Coyote base pads to march the colour of the XFive DH3 as
it is only available in Coyote brown for now. As for the price, it is being sold at US$$1,399.99.
