Ruger has introduced a noteworthy addition to their LC Carbine lineup: the 10mm Auto chambering. This lightweight carbine is designed with versatility and customization in mind, making it an attractive choice for hunters, target shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Building on the success of its .45 Auto and original 5.7x28mm versions, the 10mm Auto LC Carbine retains the compact blowback action with an Uzi-style bolt housed within an aluminum alloy receiver. This setup allows the magazine to be housed in the pistol grip, maintaining a manageable overall size. The 10mm version feeds reliably from Glock-pattern magazines, including a generous 30-round magazine from SGM Tactical.

User comfort and customization are at the forefront of the LC Carbine's design. The fire control system features Ruger's Secure Action with bilateral manual safeties, bolt releases, and a reversible magazine release, all easily accessible from the grip. Additionally, the charging handle is reversible, allowing for ambidextrous operation.

Equipped with an M-LOK handguard, the LC Carbine offers attachment slots and QD points for slings and lights. A full-length Picatinny rail enables the mounting of AR-height optics. The folding and adjustable stock caters to individual preferences, and compatibility with AR-pattern stocks provides even greater customization potential.

The 10mm LC Carbine features a 16.25-inch barrel threaded for suppressors and other muzzle devices. Its folding and telescoping stock allows for a compact folded length of just 28.6 inches, making it ideal for storage and transportation.

Durability is ensured with a Type III hard coat anodize finish on both the receiver and handguard. The M1913 Picatinny rail and Ruger's Rapid Deploy folding sights provide a reliable sighting system. Notably, the LC Carbine can be disassembled without tools, facilitating straightforward cleaning and maintenance.

Priced at $1,049, the Ruger LC Carbine in 10mm Auto is slightly more expensive than its siblings. However, it offers a significant performance upgrade for hunters and those seeking a powerful self-defense carbine. For anyone in search of a feature-rich, versatile platform in a hard-hitting caliber, the Ruger LC Carbine in 10mm Auto is a compelling option.
