QRF Magazine's MOA Exhibition 2018 Is Ready To Go In December

OptimusPrime

The next big airsoft trade exhibition that we are looking forward to and that will close the 2018 season is the Military, Outdoor & Airsoft Exhibition (MOA Exhibition) being organised by QRF Magazine. Now on its second year, this exhibition features companies from many parts of East Asia such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Thailand. Whilst, this may be the last in airsoft trade fares for the year, this event also gives us a glimpse of what airsoft players can expect for 2019.

We were at the inaugural event of the MOA Exhibition last year which was held at the Hsinchuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City, this year, it is moving to an even grander venue --- the  Taipei World Trade Center that is right beside the world famous Taipei 101 which before was the tallest building in the world. With this bigger venue, QRF Magazine says that it is able to accommodate 200 stalls.

Last year, there were 80 exhibitors and over 100 brands that were present and the organisers are expecting more this year. Below is the list of exhibitors for this year:

It was a good experience to be at this exhibition, though we recommend to the organisers to work harder on getting more exhibitors from outside the region. But for airsoft businesses such as distributors from other regions such as Europe and the Americas, it is a good opportunity to checkout this event to find out some upcoming products and airsoft tech to bring to their customers.

Whilst many would think of the SHOT Show in the U.S. and the IWA Outdoor Classics as the trade fairs where to strike deals with airsoft, and they are correct as most of the known airsoft companies will be there, visiting MOA Exhibition opens a lot of opportunities for checking the smaller companies that do not exhibit outside of Taiwan. There are many smaller shops doing innovations in airsoft that checking them out in person is the best thing to do.

Taiwan is the centre of the airsoft industry now with many airsoft companies established in the different cities in the island. Even some Hong Kong and China-based airsoft companies have already moved to Taiwan just to be near where the action in airsoft innovation is taking place. Being the centre of the airsoft industry, it might as well take bigger ambitions in having these trade fairs happen in Taiwan.

So if you are ready to see what’s happening in the airsoft industry, then better book that plane to Taipei. The MOA Exhibition is not as massive as the SHOT Show and IWA Outdoor Classics, not yet, but it aims to be like them over the years. Rest assured, you get to see some of the upcoming innovations in airsoft at this trade exhibit.
