With no more slots are open and all factions filled up, Evike.com, Moondog Industries, and NYC Airsoft are all set to see players converge at the EMR Event Park in New Milford, Pennsylvania this weekend for one of the longest running airsoft charity events in the world, Bad Blood 2019.

Popular Airsoft has been supportive of this event ever since it started in 2008. Organised by Tom “Moondog” del Mundo of Moondog Industries and NYC Airsoft, it has become Evike.com’s Appreciation Game in the East Coast given the airsoft retailers’ heavy support to the event in which a portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF).

For this year, the event will take place this weekend, the 22nd to the 23rd of June 2019. There will be 4 factions vying for viral samples and one OPFOR group that can wreck havoc on each of the faction’s plans as seen in the event’s scenario:

In the aftermath of an outbreak of Ebola, a third of Congo's population is dead and the country is in open civil war. The CDC (U.S. Centers for Disease Control) has put out a bounty for fresh virus samples from the affected regions to try and isolate the new Ebola strain. The country is split into 4 warring factions. Each faction has sent armed medical teams into the hot zone to find the most viral samples.

Each faction will have a maximum of 200 players and in preparation for the event, they each have their own Facebook pages which you can visit by clicking on their Faction names:

The Black Shirts

• Background: Internal Security forces for former President Mobutu
• Uniform: Black tops with any color/pattern pants

Greens Army

• Background: Armed militia of a Congolese Christian sect
• Uniform: Any green camo or solid green uniform with matching camo pants

Marxist Task Force

• Background: Marxist guerrillas and troops from socialist members of the African Union
• Uniform: Solid tan or any desert camo including UCP/ACU (no Transitional camo types ie. Multicam)

Deus X

• Background: Armed militia of a Congolese Christian sect
• Uniform: Matching transitional camo tops and pants: Multicam, Kryptek Mandrake or ATACs-fg tops. No solid tan tops/sleeves.

Tribal Militia (NPC Team)

• Background: Farmers, deserters and regional militias defending their villages from potentially infected outsiders. This is an INVITE only OPFOR team. Players must contact Phridum (Travis Barrett) to request to join.
• Uniform: Civilian plaid or Hawaiian printed shirts (except red, orange or yellow) with any type pants

For players arriving early they can are allowed early registration and chrono on Friday, 21 June and the whole weekend will be field with activities as shown in the schedule:

The game fee of US$50.00 covers entry to the event as well as be able to enter one’s name into the raffle draw and there are lots of prizes up for raffle with all the sponsors Evike.com have gathered to chip in for the event.
