The ePig Group reviews the Helikon Tex Raid Shirt in this episode. Raid shirts have been an integral part of soldiers' lives since the Vietnam conflict: as the US Army was unable to provide adequate clothing that harmonized with the environment and equipment, many GIs took up needle and thread to configure their own BDU shirts according to their own requirements. This was of course taken up by the employer and the raid shirts were already on the drawing board for the subsequent equipment planning.
