For those who worry about not having enough rounds with a 9mm pistol when the going gets tough, SIG Sauer seeks to alleviate that with the announcement of the SIG Sauer P365 X-MACRO. This new addition to the P365 series has a17+1 capacity which should bring enough firepower quickly. This higher capacity is made possible by the use of a stagger-stack magazine.

The P365 X-MACRO looks like a combination of the P322’s and P365XL Spectre with its integral compensator.  Even with the magazine capacity, it is lighter and slimmer as compared to a Glock 19 or even a compact P320. The affinity to the P322 rimfire pistol is the macro compact grip module but is shorter and has replaceable backstraps.

As a striker-fired, polymer-framed pistol its slide is ported to better control and muzzle rise. For target acquisition, it has XRAY3 day and night sights. The barrel is 3.5 inches long and has an under rail for mounting a weaponlight or laser. The trigger is a flat one, ensuring that the trigger pull length is uniform wherever the finger is placed on the trigger.
